After much research and soul-searching, some of us at Underground Vaults & Storage have decided that there aren’t enough good, nuts-and-bolts resources out there for what we do: Records management, information management, and secure storage of both.
Thus, this blog was born. It won’t be exhaustively complete, nothing can be, since this industry is both simple and incredibly complex. Technology changes, software becomes obsolete, media change, new legislation is created, new tools are designed.
Look here for simple advice, tips and ideas. From data tape vaulting to document storage to transporting historic documents, we hope to shed some light.
